The Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and dispostion of all Night Audit work. Responsibile for the front desk operation during the overnight shift from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. The primary responsibilities include but not limited to: Registering guests, making reservatons, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, preparing the coffee & tea bar, and printing housekeeping reports,

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles
• Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to any emergency situations
• Must be proficient with operating systems
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
• Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
• Must be effective at listening to underanding and clarifying the concerns and issues with raised by coworkers and guests
• Must maintain composure and objectively under pressure

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
• Comply with all standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily
• Balance the day's work
• Maintain cashiering front desk procedures
• Maintain front desk computer opertations procedures
• Maintain proper record keeping according to company standards
• Fullfill all front desk functions during working hours
• Handle and follow through all guest requests
• Follow safety and emergency procedures
• Preparing reports as requested by management
• Attend meetings as required by management
• Perform any other duties as requested by management
